Let’s be honest - we don’t like the idea of creating registries. Don’t get us wrong - we love the little zappy thing they give us at the store and going through and looking at all the cool stuff, but the idea of telling the people we love what to get us makes us feel a little... acquisitive. We love all our friends and family, and your presence at the beginning of our new life together is more than enough gift for us.  However, we also know that it is traditional to give a couple something to help them out as they start out together, and if our loved ones want to get us something, we will love anything they want to give us.

On the other hand, as people who have upon occasion stared blankly at an entire store or mall of possibilities trying to buy gifts for others, we recognize how useful a wish list can be.  So, in order to help those of you who want to get something but aren’t sure exactly what, we have registered at Macy’s, Williams-Sonoma, and Amazon.com.  We also have an online honeymoon fund through MyRegistry.com.  Please remember, though, that these registries are not a list of demands or a checklist -- they are there to help you if you want them, and that’s all.
